Swedish Massage

During traditional Swedish Massage, the muscles are stroked and kneaded to encourage them to relax, to release toxins, and to improve circulation. Sometimes a heavy pressure is necessary to get muscles to release and relax.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage uses slow strokes and deep pressure across the grain of the tense muscles. It is applied with more pressure and to deeper layers of muscle than Swedish Massage. There is evidence that deep tissue massage helps break up and eliminate scar tissues.

Reflexology

It is a method for activating the healing powers of the body. There are energy zones that run throughout the body and reflex areas in the feet that correspond to all the major organs, glands and body parts. Reflexology helps clear blockages, toxins and waste matter build up or improperly functioning areas.
